Who are We?
We are a group of students dedicated to protecting the Pasig River, a vital
waterway with great environmental, cultural, and historical significance
for our communities. Through this website, we aim to inspire meaningful
actions that will restore the river to its full potential.
Our Mission
To educate and inform the public about the environmental, cultural,
and historical importance of the Pasig River while inspiring
communities to take action in preserving and restoring it.
Our Vision
A revitalized Pasig River that is:
1. Pollution-Free: A river free from waste and harmful pollutants.
2. Flourishing with Life: A thriving ecosystem with rich biodiversity restored to its former glory
3. A Source of Pride: A symbol of sustainability, embraced and cherished by all communities it touches.
What We Do
Historically, the Pasig River was home to a diverse array of aquatic
life, including fish, mollusks, and aquatic plants. However, decades
of pollution, industrialization, and urban development have caused
significant biodiversity loss. Today, we work to deliver knowledge
about the remaining ecosystems and advocate for measures to restore
native species and habitats.
